The F7 Film Festival is the first of it’s kind gathering of film makers and storytellers who are unafraid to tell the truth and bring fresh perspectives and a new voice to the world.

We revel in showing uncensored and banned films that won't be seen in the mainstream. Our first event includes narrative features, documentary features, short films, and episodic content.

Submissions to the 2023 Inaugural F7 Film Festival are now open!

You may click the button below to submit your application.

The deadline dates and submission fees for Festival consideration are listed below.

F7 Film Festival does not pay screening fees to any of the filmmakers who participate in the festival. By submitting your film, you grant F7 Film Festival permission to screen the film and to use the film for marketing purposes, as determined by the film selection board.

Films must have been produced in the past 24 months, films produced prior to November 1, 2021, will not be eligible for submission, with the exception of the "classics" category. If the film has not yet been completed, please submit a synopsis or trailer.

Any submitted films with non-English dialogue must have accompanying subtitles.

The applicant must license or obtain permission from the appropriate legal rights holder for any and all trademarked and/or copyrighted materials included in the submitted project before it can be exhibited publicly.

If your submitted project contains unlicensed or uncleared materials, it is the responsibility of the owner or owners of the project to license, clear, or otherwise replace these materials in the event that F7 Film Festival or any other entity chooses to accept the project for festival exhibition.

F7 FF will not be held responsible for ensuring that you have obtained licensing rights or other clearance for these materials at any point during the application process, nor will we be held responsible for the inclusion of unlicensed or uncleared trademarked or copyrighted materials held within the final version of your project.

It is the sole responsibility of the entity or entities claiming ownership of the submitted project to secure licensing and/or permission from the trademark or copyright holders of the material in question. This includes music, stock images/footage, or any other elements that could violate an existing legal trademark or copyright.

Projects that are accepted into the Festival will be required to sign a waiver stating that all materials contained within the project do not violate any existing trademark or copyright.
